For someone who have problem with devil may cry 4 special edition has stopped working, i have success fix this problem. What do you have to do is check your graphic card driver. Try update my graphic card driver to latest driver but this problem can’t be fixed, what have i do is, i’m download the old driver version and install again.

Ok thanks i’ll try this today. I’ll do a a format on a regular base and i use 4 ssd, one big with programmes, drivers downloads of games i didnt finish, files and donwloads, one for documents, foto’s and pictures, one for the OS (win8.1), and one for my installed games. So it’s not a lot of work because everything is always ready to perform a clean install. And it’s a homemade pc so clean windows install. I have i7-4790 @ 4.0ghz.

Takes about 5minutes for the windows, the only thing i hate is to reinstall the games i’m still playing, office and all the programmes i use and then always about hondreds of updates for windows and office. After the clean istall, did you used the old driver or the new one for Nvidia? Thanks again for the help. Enjoy your game after taking some time for the problems. I let you know what i does for me.
